Installation CDRom doesn't boot: Some CDRom drives cannot read the BFS file system when on a boot cdrom. To bypass this, create a CD with only the BeOS5PEMaxEditionV4b1.iso and use the floppy disk to boot. If in Windows use rawwritewin included in the Zip file you downloaded to create the boot floppy by using the FLOPPY.IMG file.

NOTE: For those that have IDE controlers that are not compatible with BeOS Max, we have included the IDE Replacement Boot Disk. Write a Floppy using the FloppyIdeRepl.img image. Boot with it, install from the CD and then boot with it again, and install the IDE Replacement Drivers found in the Other Drivers Directory on the Desktop.
