DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS Every person who wishes to obtain a driver license or identification card in Florida is required to show specific documentation to prove their citizenship/immigration status and identity. Florida’s requirements follow federal regulations set forth by the Department of Homeland Security’s Real ID Act which was designed to improve security and help reduce identity fraud. Am I Real ID Compliant?

If you’ve provided identification documents and have been issued a license out of an office anytime since January 1, 2010 you should already be Real ID compliant. The easiest way to check for Real ID compliance is to look at your most current driver license or identification card and see if you have a gold star located in the upper right corner next to the image of the state of Florida (see ). If you are already Real ID compliant it means you do not have to present any documents unless you are making a change to the information (name/address/immigration status) on your current card. For additional information on Real ID compliance, please visit the FLHSMV’s page.

Not Real ID Compliant? The documents required in addition to proof of address vary depending on current citizenship/immigration status. Citizen customers that are not Real ID compliant are required to bring certain identification documents to have a driver license or identification card issued.

After supplying the necessary documents, an eight year license or ID will be issued (unless over 80 years of age). Windows Xp Home Edition Ulcpc Iso Download.
